Akzo Nobel wanted to update the coffee corners for its Trimetal brand to provide a pleasant space in which to enjoy a coffee and discuss projects with employees or advise customers in a more informal setting. It was very important to come up with modular equipment that could be easily adapted to fit in with the various configurations at different points of sale.
It was also necessary to emphasise the colour black.
Kozmoz handled the complete revamping of this shop-in-shop space, from design to prototype to production! We produced various elements, such as metal structures with integrated wiring, new glass display cases and black melamine-faced MDF cupboards, shelves and tables.
LED signs featuring the logo made of acrylic were installed in order to showcase the brand. We also produced a large LED frame with a stretched canvas over the central cabinet. Two other A3-size frames were installed on the side of the central cabinet, creating a communication space that can easily be changed out.
To minimise costs, certain elements were kept and updated in line with current styles. The red cupboards and white walls were clad in black and the light wood worktops were finished in dark wood to create a uniform ensemble.
For the installation, we worked with an external team of merchandisers with whom Akzo Nobel collaborates regularly.
The result? A timeless, open space that is a great place for people to meet.
